I have been slacking at making this page, but the more I think about it the more I think it is important to have.
DEPOSITS AND REFUNDS –
I do now require a $50 Non-Refundable deposit on the babies if reserved before they are ready to go to their new homes. I have not had problems with a lot of people following through with picking up their babies without leaving a deposit, but I have had enough say they want a hedgie baby then when it’s time for them to pick up their baby I don’t hear from them. This has led me to realize that deposits are unfortunately necessary. Of course if there are extenuating circumstances as to why you can’t get your baby I will possibly make exceptions with refunding that deposit.
If you put more than $50 down on your baby and have to back out at the last minute, I will refund anything over that $50 that you paid.
*** We do now accept payment through PAYPAL, the CASH app, VENMO, and of course CASH or MONEY ORDERS. ***
PAYMENT PLAN –
If, for whatever reason, you don’t think you’ll have all the money for the baby at the time that he/she is ready, then I will do a payment plan where you can pay whatever you can afford weekly or whenever up until you pay your baby off. I will NOT let the baby leave until you have completely paid for him/her in FULL however. There will be a time span of how long I will hold onto the baby too depending on the circumstance, so please keep that in mind.
HEALTH GUARANTEE –
Our hedgies are very healthy and, thank the Lord, we have never had a problem with health issues with our hedgies or hedgies that we have sold. We do offer 24/7 support to those that have questions and do offer a 6-month congenital health guarantee.
Our hedgies also do come with a lifetime guarantee against Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome (WHS). We will offer a replacement baby if WHS ever is present for free (with the exception of shipping charges, if applicable). We do require a necropsy report from a licensed vet showing a positive for WHS (Owner’s expense).
SHIPPING POLICY –
We do offer shipping to legal states. Do your homework and make sure your state does allow hedgehogs – some do not. It is approximately $175 to ship – this includes the cost of flight, crate, transportation to the airport, and random supplies needed for the animal to be able to fly.
You have the option to put insurance on your hedgie for the flight, but I will need to be informed at least 2 weeks beforehand. A vet check would be required due to the need for a health certificate to be issued in order for insurance to be provided. This extra expense will be an additional charge on your end. The insurance is also an extra fee through the airlines which would be an additional charge to you as well.
Of course if there’s any questions regarding any of these polices, definitely feel free to ask me. Otherwise, thank you for taking the time to read these! 🙂
